What Is Integrative Counselling?

Integrative counselling combines different therapeutic approaches to meet your unique needs. I use evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you explore, understand, and cope with your challenges.

The Flow of Our Sessions

We begin our process with an introductory chat and an initial assessment. This helps to identify your presenting issues, establish clear goals, and highlight areas for growth.

Our first session is dedicated to explore deeper into your challenges, understanding their current impact on your life, and clarifying the specific outcomes you hope to achieve through our partnership.

Personal change and healing are rarely linear processes.  Our sessions acknowledge this and the plan is continually reviewed and adapted based on your progress and feedback to ensure the work remains relevant and effective.

Philosophy of Lasting Change

We do not have to follow fixed session requirements, as the transformative path is unique and shaped by your individual strengths, limitations, and the intensity of your challenges. You are always free to choose the frequency and duration of our work together.  However, achieving sustainable change requires more than just insight; it requires dedicated and committed work toward developing coping skills, integrating behavioral changes, and securing a fundamental shift in mindset.  This commitment ensures we see effective and lasting improvements in your quality of life.
